Please do the blimp!! That idea is stellar!
Also, amazing podcast guys!! Thoroughly enjoyed listening to this on my travels to uni and been listening to it since it first went up so thanks for all the entertainment!
Haha yeah I loved the blimp idea too! I hope we get around to it at some point! Thanks so much for the support! We really appreciate it! Glad you’re enjoying the show, there will be plenty more to come soon!
Hey guys! Love RTH, can’t wait for season 2, I have to say something though just in hopes that another person plays a wild magic sorcerer,… You aren’t only supposed to roll on the chart when the mage ACTUALLY rolls a critical miss. Instead when he uses any level 1 or higher spell the DM may roll his OWN d20 and if THAT comes up 1, then go to the chart. But it also specifies that’s its up to the DM to decide how often he rolls the wild surge chance. I like the chart so much that in my game I’m having my DM roll every time I cast a spell and also if its 5 or lower a wild surge occurs. (Based on the fact that my character used a magic blood injection to become a sorcerer, that makes him more unstable) lol. But anyway, just wanted to say that in hopes of more hilarity with Flumps occurring in season 2.
Keep it up, you’re all the best,
-Steven Mutha F***in Pierce
#DungeonMasterX ftw!!
Thanks so much!! We really appreciate it 🙂 That’s crazy, obviously I had no idea about that rule. Thanks for pointing that out! I’ll run it by the DM and see what he wants to do. The wild magic table has been one of the best parts about playing my character, and any excuse for there to be more Flumphs is all I need to hear haha. Thanks for the support!! You’re the man Steven!
Extremely disappointed, i’ve run out of episodes to watch!!! On a serious note though This series has been brilliant and although you wondered if anyone had listened to the entire series on a huge long bus ride I will say I just listened to the whole of season 1 in about 3 days at work (I’ve been driving long distance trucks at work this week). I am just getting into rpgs having never played when I was younger, and your series has certainly pushed me on to get a game going.
I wonder if Paul Might be willing to post up his campaign notes etc if hes willing to share I would be interested in perusing them. Anyway well done with the show and am eagerly awaiting the next season.

P.S how about a video feed to accompany the next one?
Dan! You are seriously the man! Thank you so much for sending your thoughts along. It makes us so happy to hear that you enjoyed it. I hope you can get your rpg game going with your group!
I mentioned this to Paul and he said he would be happy to share his document that he worked off of. However, it may not be entirely helpful since it doesn’t have all the stats and things you would need to actually run it. In any case, email thecommentistnetwork@gmail.com and I’ll put you in touch with him. I’m sure he’d be happy to explain what he can and help you get set up.
We flirted with the idea of video actually. The issue is with editing. In the audio, we cut out a lot of the pauses, looking up rules, etc. so it might not translate well into video. We also haven’t been using maps/miniatures, so it would basically just be watching the 5 of us around the table haha. But I’ve been pushing for it so hopefully we’ll be able to come up with something eventually!
Anyway, get in touch about the campaign. You’re the best! Definitely let us know how you like season 2! The first episode should be up next week 🙂
