good episode again. you guys pick interesting topics 🙂
thanks for mentioning my stuff and summarizing it really well
Great episode as usual, you two. But Paul, I was really distraught to hear you say that vegan food can be found just about anywhere except in “steakhouses and Italian restaurants”. Italian food is incredibly vegan-friendly! You’re not the only one to have this misconception though, which is why I’m in the process of writing a vegan guidebook to Italy that will highlight the many plant-based dishes in the local cuisine and dispel once and for all the myth that everything in Italy is smothered in cheese. You can find out more about the book here if you’re interested: http://www.thenomadicvegan.com/guidebook-vegan-in-italy/
Thanks for all you do to create a better world!
Thanks Wendy! I’ve definitely heard people say that Italian restaurants often have options, but I always thought it would mostly be pasta with marinara sauce so I rarely try. Can’t wait to check out your guidebook!
