This week brings the conclusion of the summer break film review series. You may recall that Paul and Andy once released an entire episode dedicated to asking if advocating that people “go vegan for the amazon” is an effective and accurate tactic. So you bet your biscuits they were excited to check out Takeout, a new documentary that promises to explore the connections between rainforest destruction and animal agriculture. They’ll take an in depth look at the road map used to guide viewers through a very complex issue. Does Takeout avoid the common pitfalls we saw during the height of the Amazonian rainforest fire outrage, or does it offer something more nuanced and valuable? Stay tuned to find out!
