Episode Description

In this episode of Kiss the Crest, Shawn, Dave, and Rob break down the big results from the week in the English Premier League, German Bundesliga, French Ligue 1, Spanish Supercup, and Champions League playoffs. They analyze Manchester City destroying Chelsea and Barcelona’s meltdown in the cup. The first half finishes with a preview the big games next week and transfer rumors around Pedro and Balotelli.

After the half time break, the guys get into a heated debate about promotion and relegation. Should promotion and relegation exist in football? Does it help or hurt the sport? The show finishes off with a discussion of how much technology should be used in refereeing.

Episode Description

In the pilot episode of Kiss the Crest, Shawn, Dave, and Rob introduce themselves, talk about what clubs they follow, and their favorite player. Once the intros are out of the way, the guys switch to the FIFA scandal, Sepp Blatter’s dethroning and the world cup bids. Next, they discuss the USA’s brilliant performance in the Women’s World Cup, high viewership, and turf fields in a major tournament.

After the half time break, the trio dives into all of the major summer transfers. Closing the show, they assess each of their clubs dealings in the transfer window and preview the season ahead.
