The Bearded Vegans return from their summer break with a mini episode recorded live at the Triangle Vegfest in Durham, NC. They begin by answering a listener email asking whether young children have the mental and moral capacity to choose veganism for themselves. While it is clear that humans of all ages can thrive on a plant based diet, at what point are we able to make ethical decisions for ourselves and how can a parent navigate this tricky time in a child’s life? They then go on to discuss whether demanding separate cooking surfaces makes veganism look too hard before turning the mic over to the audience for a variety of questions. Paul and Andy had a lot of fun at this one, enjoy!
