Episode Description

Episode 65: What Does The End Of Ringling Brothers Circus Mean For The Future Of Animal Advocacy?

This week Paul and Andy discuss the use of animals for entertainment, starting with the recent undercover video exposing animal abuse on the set of A Dog’s Purpose before moving on to discuss Ringling Brothers Circus announcement that they will be closing their tent flap for good this May. Is this a victory for animals or just another example of a single issue campaign that misses the point? What does this mean for the future of animal advocacy? Do we even need to protest circuses anymore? Additionally, we visit several food vendors at Brooklyn’s Vegan Market and Paul makes another trip to Philly.
